Yes that is correct, and the blend1 & blend2 are automated backups.
Only the P80.blend file is actually used.
There are lots of optional parts in the one Blender file like two bodys, four boogies, optional roof details and so on.
The Blender export tool ignores hidden objects thus the correct variation can be obtained by only having the wanted parts visible.
