The detailing is great indeed, it ranks up there with the better ones, and all for free? Just wonderful.
(PS. would you consider creating more electric locomotives?)

A very nice piece of work!
Have you ever concidered using foto textures instead of homemade - it can give a more natural effect, with highlights that are very hard to achieve else. Sometimes homemade textures give a somewhat dull appearence. I'm sure you have the possibility to get hold of some good pictures to use.

Just a suggestion.

Friend x2an projects are at present only because like all models in 3ds know this is done in free time that each has and most of the time is very short, when available will be available in....

As I search for documentation on other models I show you another project I'm doing .....

it is the diesel locomotive Renfe 4000 (340) built by Krauss-Maffei. and circulated by the Spanish routes in the 60's.

After a few days of "riso-therapy" with almost all the great family of STR today I closed the messenger to continue working ....

..... Rivets, rust, windshield wipers, signals light and some other little thing they complete the steel monster.

This is the most realistic loco I ever seen! How do you make the transparent windows so shiny? I've tried a lot but failed. Is it a secret or can you tell me?

No, it's no secret but rather a matter of proportions in the options of transparency and reflection, but this depends on the program with which you are creating your model.
